Tristan is a professional, hard working and energetic Lighting Designer and Technician with almost 6 years full time experience in live production. Tristan has considerable experience in a variety of production formats, from traditionally staged productions to ‘in the round’, outdoor and Touring productions on all scales.

He is well versed in designing for and programming using a multitude of equipment including conventional, LED and automated fixtures as well as media servers, projection and a variety of lighting consoles (Primarily MA2, ETC or Chamsys) for anything from small rigs to those using upwards of 200 intelligent fixtures.

But most importantly, Tristan understands light, both scientifically and Artistically. The theory of light, and the way it can highlight, transform and accentuate the human form, is a commonly overlooked skill, especially when lighting dance pieces.
